As Kate attempted to deliver the report, Ed Balls interjected multiple times, prompting viewers to vent their anger on social media. One wrote: 'Ed Balls needs to let Kate speak. This is a serious story.' Another said: 'Let Kate finish, Ed! So disrespectful.'
