Good Morning Britain viewers were left fuming after a guest snapped at host Susanna Reid during a debate about the BRIT Awards going gender neutral. Podcaster Aamir Hassan demanded not to be interrupted as he clashed with Reid and co-host Adil Ray.
The debate, which also featured journalist India Willoughby, turned tense when Reid interjected to make a point about inclusivity. Hassan retorted, 'I'd appreciate not being interrupted seeing as India and I are having a healthy debate here, thank you.'
Despite attempts to continue, Hassan was eventually cut off mid-sentence as the show moved to another interview. Viewers branded him 'rude' and a 'diva' on social media, with one tweeting: 'Aamir trying to look hard and edgy on telly bless him, he was just rude!'
After the show, Willoughby tweeted her frustration, saying she couldn't finish her point and suggesting keeping male and female categories alongside a top award for inclusivity.
