GB News has issued a statement after technical errors meant that some programmes were replaced with previous broadcasts. Fans of the news channel had taken to social media over the weekend after the "glitches" kept happening and some viewers became concerned that the programming had been taken over by "left-wing loons."

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one person questioned: "Has something happened with GB NEWS over the last 15 minutes? It’s like there’s this really big technical difficulty and now it’s just videos of previous broadcasts." Another worried fan echoed: "@GBNEWS has gone down again, and reverted to playing pre-recorded clips. What’s going on?"
As a third added: "What is going on @GBNEWS? This is the second morning, this weekend!!! Can you update us as to what is wrong and when we can expect normal viewing to resume???" One more fumed: "What is going on with #GBNews? Yesterday they broke down for an hour with no reason given, except it’s a ‘glitch’ now this morning it’s happened again! Are they being attacked by some Left-wing loon?"

In a statement sent out to email subscribers, GB News said: "You may have experienced some disruption to our live service in recent days. While our channel is currently operating as normal, we are aware of the issues that have affected some viewers. Our team continues to treat this as a priority and is working to implement a permanent solution while making every effort to minimise any further disruption."
"We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and greatly appreciate your patience and understanding. Thank you for your continued support of GB News."
Presenter feud revelation
Recently, a secret GB News feud was "exposed" as presenters admitted to "not liking each other". Presenter Beverly Turner has opened up about hidden feuds, and she admitted to "not getting on" with a fellow co-star. The 52-year-old, who has hosted the network's The Late Show Live in the US since August 2025, returned to the UK to reunite with her colleagues and celebrate the broadcaster's fifth anniversary.
Bev made a special appearance on Patrick Christy's Tonight Show and was seated beside fellow presenter Andrew Pierce and political commentator Cai Wilshaw. Comparing the US to the UK, Bev shared: "Our sense of humour, that is what absolutely sets us apart across the world, the best sense of humour in this country." Pointing at Andrew, she confessed to Patrick: "Him and I didn't always get on, as you knew." To which the journalist concurred: "You could say that again." As the studio audience laughed, the shocked host chuckled as he exclaimed: "No! That is breaking news."
