The aftermath of Jimmy King's death in Emmerdale continues to unfold, with Gabby Thomas visibly guilty and a police investigation underway. Jimmy died when his car crashed into the wedding marquee on Joe Tate and Dawn Taylor's big day, leading to an explosion and a rush to hospital.
Wedding Day Tragedy
After discovering that Billy Fletcher had conspired with Caleb Miligan to get her out of the village, Dawn rushed back to reunite with Joe at the marquee. Jimmy's vehicle drove through the venue, causing his death. Joe urged Dawn to safety before the marquee went up in flames, and a major explosion ensued.
Graham Foster raced to rescue Joe, who was still alive when Graham emerged from the blaze and was rushed to hospital. Dawn went into early labour and delivered the baby, with an emotional Joe watching by her side.
Guilt and Investigation
In the village, Nicola King was tasked with telling her children that Jimmy had died. Kim Tate later headed up the crash site, where she grilled DS Ramsden on the investigation. Out of sight, a guilty Gabby Thomas loomed, panic written all over her face.
