Sam, the caddy, is played by Fortune Feimster, an American writer, comedian, and actress known for roles in The Mindy Project and FUBAR. Feimster, 46, from North Carolina, previously worked in entertainment journalism for seven years before pursuing comedy. She told Screen Time: “These two have similar energies and end up really leaning on each other and forming a cool friendship. I personally don’t know anything about golf. But luckily my character, Sam, does not know anything about golf.”
