Fiz Dobbs is set to confront Ross Wilkes in Coronation Street, as new evidence emerges about Cassie Plummer's mysterious disappearance. Ross, who has become the street's new villain, faces mounting suspicion from Fiz, who is determined to uncover the truth.
Fiz's suspicions grow
After Cassie left the cobbles following her failed plan to drug Ross's smoothie, which accidentally poisoned Tracy Barlow, Ross offered her a lift out of town. During the journey, their past was brought up, including how Ross took advantage of a fifteen-year-old Cassie, leading to her pregnancy with Tyrone. Ross's anger escalated, and he sped off with a terrified Cassie, who has not been seen since.
Fiz, however, is not fooled by Ross's act. She confronted him in the Rovers Return, accusing him of lying about seeing Cassie before she left. With a firm warning, Fiz told Ross, 'If you put one foot out of line, you're going to be back in Warrington before you know what's hit you.'
New evidence surfaces
This week, Ross's shady behavior intensifies when Hope Stape finds a photo that Fiz gave Cassie in Ross's wallet. Ross claims Cassie threw it at him as he got out of the car, but Fiz is unconvinced. As Ross tries to deflect Tyrone's suspicions, Fiz's instincts tell her something is wrong. Will she uncover what Ross did to Cassie?
