Kenneth Branagh's acclaimed crime drama Wallander is now available to stream free on Channel 4, and fans are calling it 'one of the best crime shows in the world'.

A British adaptation of a Swedish classic

The series is based on the beloved book series by Swedish author Henning Mankell, following fictional detective Kurt Wallander in the town of Ystad. It originally aired on BBC One from 2008 to 2016, spanning four seasons.

Branagh leads an ensemble cast including Sarah Smart, Tom Hiddleston, Jeany Spark, Richard McCabe, David Warner, Sadie Shimmin, and Polly Hemingway.
