Emmerdale's Vinny Dingle is set to contact the police after a brutal attack, but it remains unclear who he will accuse. In the latest episode, Vinny prepared to report the assault, leading viewers to question whether he will frame his friend Kammy for the crime.
Vinny was attacked by Mike, whose real identity as Graham was exposed. Mike had been blackmailing Vinny, demanding £10,000 after Vinny confided in him about questioning his sexuality. The attack left Vinny injured, but he has been lying to his fiancée Gabby Thomas about what happened.
Gabby assumed Kammy was responsible for Vinny's injuries, and Vinny goaded Kammy to make him appear guilty. Kammy, sensing something was wrong, tried to get Vinny to open up, but Vinny screamed at him and refused to tell the truth.
After a conversation with Gabby, Vinny was seen searching for the local police station's number on his phone, preparing to make a call. It is uncertain whether he will report the truth about Mike or frame Kammy to cover up his ordeal.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
