Emmerdale's Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) is left devastated after discovering voicemails left by her late husband Jimmy (Nick Miles) for his ex Sadie (Patsy Kensit), which she believes are further proof of an affair. However, the recordings contain a crucial detail that could expose Sadie's lies.
Sadie returned to the village earlier this month after two decades away, claiming she and Jimmy had been seeing each other for three years. Nicola initially refused to believe her, but when Sadie presented photographic 'proof', she accepted that her husband was living a double life. Yet holes in Sadie's claims soon emerged, including the use of AI in the so-called photographs.
Voicemails Reveal the Truth
In tonight's episode, Nicola listened to newly-discovered voicemails left by Jimmy for his ex, showing he was back in contact with her before his death. Unable to listen to much of them, she missed the part where he affirmed his love for Nicola, which contradicts everything Sadie claimed.
Meanwhile, Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) headed to court with Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches), who is struggling to accept what his boyfriend did and the fact that he lied about it.

In Monday's episode, Nicola is utterly broken by what she thinks she heard. Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) finds her and, despite previous tension, takes her best friend home, wishing she could help more. The question remains: will Nicola listen to the voicemails fully and get the whole picture regarding Sadie?
Sadie and Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), who are working together, struggle to locate Jimmy's missing cash. Will they succeed with more investigation, or will Nicola get there first?
More Drama in the Village
Lewis breaks things off with Vinny following his confession, leaving Vinny devastated. His mum Mandy (Lisa Riley) offers support and comfort. Elsewhere, Kim Tate (Claire King) is reeling when she arrives at the hospital to find Joe (Ned Porteous) has banned anyone from seeing the baby, who he is putting up for adoption.
Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) visits the doctors, where Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) suspects her cough could be bronchitis and prescribes antibiotics. Gabby is sceptical about taking the medication due to her fixation on 'clean eating'.
