Tonight's episode of Emmerdale on ITV1 and ITVX sees the fallout from recent events, with trouble ahead for Steve, Joe Tate and Caleb Miligan.
Steve's plan threatens Kev's progress
As Lewis' birthday approaches, Kev Townsend is determined to make a good impression with his son. However, Steve is not interested in that and instead tries to persuade Kev to help him commit a robbery. Kev initially does not realise what Steve is up to, and Charles and Claudette Anderson also remain unaware. Steve's plans could jeopardise Kev's efforts with Lewis.
Joe's concerns and Caleb's sabotage
Joe continues to question whether his fiancée Dawn Taylor has feelings for her ex-husband Billy Fletcher. He is soon distracted when he tries to make amends with his brother Noah Dingle, who is considering leaving the village. Caleb Miligan, Joe's enemy and uncle, sabotages this attempt, prompting Joe to seek payback.
Joe investigates Caleb
Joe arrives at Caleb's depot to confront him about the Noah drama. Caleb, who is using the depot for his counterfeit car parts scheme, wants Joe out of the way quickly and tries to make that happen. But Caleb's desperate change in behaviour makes Joe suspicious. Deciding to take action, Joe asks Graham Foster to find dirt on Caleb, convinced he is up to something.
It remains to be seen whether Caleb's desperation has only made Joe more of a problem. If Joe uncovers Caleb's scheme, he could either cover it up or use it against him. Meanwhile, Caleb is reportedly set to launch a revenge mission against Joe following their past feud, in which Joe had Caleb stabbed and stole his kidney.
