Robert Sugden faces a desperate plea to Aaron Dingle after revealing his role in Moira Dingle’s potential imprisonment. The character, played by Ryan Hawley, confessed last week that his actions under blackmail led to Moira facing a lengthy sentence.
Moira, played by Natalie J Robb, intends to plead guilty at her upcoming hearing, believing it will result in a shorter sentence. Robert, guilt-ridden after hearing Kyle Winchester’s worries, considers turning himself in for tampering with evidence to free Moira.
In upcoming episodes, Robert and Aaron race against time after discovering a storage unit belonging to Celia. With a key obtained from Marlon Dingle, they hope to find evidence that could exonerate Moira before her confession.
Aaron, however, remains uncertain about their relationship following Robert’s betrayal. Ryan Hawley confirmed this is a ‘huge obstacle’ for the couple, adding that Robert feels the weight of his actions and believes prison is the only way to atone.
