Emmerdale is set for a dramatic schedule shake-up next week as John Sugden's sinister plot comes to a head in a horrifying cliff stunt. The ITV soap will air altered times, with no Tuesday episode due to sports coverage, leaving fans to catch episodes on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday instead.
Spoilers reveal that Aaron Dingle desperately tries to escape John, but Robert Sugden arrives at the cottage and accuses John of murder. A physical confrontation leaves Robert lifeless on the ground. Aaron manages to flee and searches for a hatch linked to Mack's disappearance, but John pursues him.
Aaron reaches a gorge and confronts John, realising the man he thought he knew is not who he appears to be. John initially decides to call the police to confess, but when Robert regains consciousness and intervenes, John turns vengeful. He accuses Aaron of orchestrating the reunion and calls the police to frame Robert before jumping into the gorge with Aaron in his arms.
Robert, reeling, sees both men motionless and calls the police, but they remain sceptical of his innocence. The outcome remains uncertain, with viewers left to wonder who will survive.
Actor Danny Miller, who plays Aaron, commented on the storyline: 'It's nice that Aaron can finally become one of the viewers... they get to share in this hatred of John.' He praised co-star Oliver Farnworth, calling him 'the nicest man I've ever met.'
