Emmerdale viewers believe they have uncovered the truth behind Graham Foster's mysterious phone call, linking it to the shocking murder of Ray Walters. The character made a surprise return during Monday's episode, which also featured the discovery of Ray's body.
Graham was seen at the hospital, where he made a cryptic call to an unknown person, mentioning he had 'something to do'. Meanwhile, Rhona Goskirk was acting suspiciously and made a phone call of her own, asking 'have you done it?' shortly after Ray's murder.
Fans have now connected the two calls, speculating that Rhona was speaking to Graham and that he may have killed Ray on her behalf. One viewer posted: 'Maybe Rhona was on the phone to Graham who she knew was still alive & asked him to kill Ray!!' Another added: 'So, was Rhona on the phone to Graham and it was him that's done Ray in?'
Others have questioned how Rhona would know Graham was still alive, as he was presumed dead after being murdered by Pierce Harris in 2020. The theory has gained traction among fans, with many agreeing it would explain both characters' unusual behaviour.
Additionally, viewers are speculating about the identity of Jodie, the young girl seen tied up in Graham's van. Her tattoo appears similar to Shona Platt's from Coronation Street, leading fans to believe she may be Shona's sister.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX, while Coronation Street follows at 8:30pm.
