Emmerdale has unveiled a fresh trailer hinting at stormy times ahead for Billy Fletcher, and it spells trouble. As viewers of the ITV soap are aware, Billy (portrayed by Jay Kontzle) is romantically involved with Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) following a shock split from his wife, Dawn (Olivia Bromley).
Their marriage crumbled when Dawn embarked on an affair with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) and opted for a fresh start with her lover at Home Farm. The pair is now expecting their first child together. Pregnant Dawn has been stunned by Billy's blossoming romance with Gabby, who also resides on the luxurious estate belonging to Kim Tate (Claire King).
Revenge plot unfolds
Soon after Dawn discovered that her former husband had begun dating Gabby, Dawn proposed that they keep their relationship under wraps for a while, fearing it might bewilder the children, Clemmie, Lucas, and Evan. On Monday (July 27), Emmerdale unveiled an exciting trailer hinting at drama brewing among Billy, Gabby, Dawn, and Joe.
In one intimate scene, Billy and Dawn are shown seated together, sharing a laugh. The voice of Caleb Miligan (William Ash) then declares, "They're soulmates," while Billy grins at Dawn, who returns a blushing glance. The footage then cuts to the depot as Caleb continued: "Always have been. Always will be", leaving Joe standing with crossed arms and a furious look.
"I'm always going to care about you," Dawn tells Billy before Gabby is seen at The Hide making a mysterious threat: "I'm not letting him get away with this. I want answers." Before the trailer concludes, Joe appears at Home Farm, where he warns Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough): "Billy's gonna have to watch his back."

Moments later, Billy is shown sprawled on the ground with blood pooling around his head, though his destiny remains uncertain. Emmerdale enthusiasts have been left pleading with the ITV soap not to axe Billy, with one fan posting on Instagram: "Is Billy leaving? Didn't hear any gossip relating to it."
