Victoria Sugden has hinted at a permanent exit from Emmerdale, telling her brother Robert that she does not think she will ever return to the village.
The character, played by Isabel Hodgins, appeared via video call in the latest episode, where she said: "I'm happy here. I won't lie to you Robert, I don't think I'll ever feel like coming back."
Victoria's Exit After 32 Years
Victoria left the village "for good" earlier this year after killing her brother John Sugden. Since then, Isabel Hodgins has shared her thoughts on returning to the role, while she is currently on maternity leave.
The actress previously revealed she wanted to go back at some point but had not decided when exactly. Now, a permanent exit has been teased in the village.
Next Week's Drama
Spoilers for next week tease more drama for multiple characters. Sadie King continues to scheme against Ruby and Caleb, making out that Ruby has a drink problem. She tries to set Ruby up so it looks like she and Ross are flirting, just as Caleb walks in the room.
Sadie makes Caleb think that Ruby and Ross have slept together, leading Caleb to sleep with Sadie. The next day, Caleb is tormented and confronts his wife, only to be left shaking when he realises Ruby did not spend the night with Ross.
More Storylines Ahead
Elsewhere, Robert has an offer for Marlon, leaving Charity furious. Charity makes a show of turning against Marlon and Mary, throwing Robert and Aaron out of the pub.
Belle makes an assumption about a bride-to-be and their partner, Jordan, and is mortified to realise she got it wrong. Kammy finds a wreath of dead flowers addressed to Belle, with Tom becoming the prime suspect. Nicola reaches her limit and throws everyone out of the café, before Kev convinces her to open up.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
