Billy and Dawn plan their escape
Billy doubles down and tells Dawn he saw Joe attack him, despite Dawn's disbelief that Joe would traumatise the kids. Dawn is devastated but accepts Billy's assertion and blames herself, feeling trapped by carrying Joe's baby. Billy proposes that they run away as a family, noting Dawn's previous plans to escape the village.
Dawn considers the practical details of Billy's offer for them to escape. Billy prepares to answer DS Byrne's questions about his attack. Caleb, who initially saw Billy's attack as an opportunity to take down Joe, is frustrated when Billy clears Joe's name with the police.
Billy explains to Caleb that clearing Joe was a ploy to make Joe complacent while he and Dawn plan their escape, and he asks Caleb for assistance. Dawn invites Billy to stay at Home Farm. Dawn tells him that Joe's stag do the day after tomorrow will be the perfect time for them to make their escape.
Kev's surprising offer
Kev is thrilled that Lewis wants to meet up tomorrow, but knows he has a lot to hide. When Lewis reveals he can't ride a bike, he's thrilled that Kev offers to teach him. But, unseen by the rest of the villagers, Kev looks secretly worried by the idea. Ruby catches up with Kev and asks him to rob the delivery for Jimmy's new haulage contract.
She's left thwarted when Kev turns her down. When Kev tries to show Lewis how to ride a bike, it quickly becomes clear he doesn't know how to himself, and he crashes. As he lies on the floor, he's thrilled when Lewis lies with him and the pair enjoy some bonding time as father and son. As Kev and Lewis stare up at the clouds, Lewis surprises Kev with an announcement.
