EastEnders viewers believe they have uncovered Joel Marshall's sinister plan for revenge against Stacey Slater after she slapped him for his misogynistic comments. The BBC soap's latest teaser suggests Joel has leaked intimate photos and videos from Stacey's past as a webcam model, humiliating her in front of the community.
Last week, Tommy Moon informed Joel about Stacey's previous online activity, leading Joel to find her SecretCam profile and smirk with malicious intent. In Monday's episode, Stacey is seen excitedly telling Kathy Beale about her daughter Lily's return, only to notice café customers staring and whispering. Joel and Tommy watch smugly from the market, hinting at his involvement.
Stacey soon discovers her private content has been leaked online. She confronts Joel, who denies responsibility, and his father Ross accepts his denial after checking his laptop. However, fans are convinced Joel is the culprit, with one saying: 'He leaks Stacey's photos & videos from her Cam days online.' Another added: 'I knew he was gonna do that from when he found her profile.'
But Joel's actions may backfire. It has been revealed that Stacey reports him to the police, and viewers believe this could lead to his downfall.
