The BBC has announced its festive line-up for Christmas 2024, featuring a range of specials, dramas, and comedies. Among the highlights, EastEnders will air a Christmas Day episode where secrets and lies threaten the Beale family festivities, with the shocking truth about Cindy being revealed in spectacular fashion.
Other drama offerings include the return of Strike: The Ink Black Heart, starring Tom Burke and Holiday Grainger, and a two-part special of The Split set in Spain. Steven Knight's SAS Rogue Heroes returns for a second series, while Call The Midwife will deliver two Christmas specials, including a cliffhanger.
Comedy fans can look forward to the final episode of Gavin and Stacey, five years after Nessa proposed to Smithy. The Outnumbered Christmas Special will also return, following the Brockman family as they navigate adult children. Doctor Who returns with Joy To The World, a time-hopping adventure written by Steven Moffat.
