EastEnders viewers believe the identity of newcomer Jasmine has been revealed following cryptic scenes in Thursday's episode. The mystery character was seen stalking doctor Anthony Trueman and later breaking into the medical centre, prompting speculation about her true motives.
During the episode, Jasmine watched Anthony from near The Vic and later encouraged him to leave his table at the bar by suggesting he try non-alcoholic cocktails. While he was away, she searched his jacket pockets and stole his keys. She then used the keys to access the surgery, where she attempted to log into Anthony's computer.
After failing to guess the password, Jasmine found it written down and began searching patient records. She appeared to look for someone specific, muttering 'There you are' as she found what she was looking for. Fans are convinced she was searching for Cindy Beale's medical records.
One viewer theorised: 'So who is with me thinking that Jasmine is actually Cindy’s secret daughter?' Another added: 'I think Jasmine was attempting to track down Cindy's medical records which makes me more convinced that Jasmine is Jackie Ford's daughter.'
