EastEnders fans are convinced they have spotted a major twist in the ongoing 'Who Killed Anthony Trueman?' mystery, despite a shocking on-screen confession from his daughter, Jasmine.
A Confession at the Undertakers
In the episode aired on Thursday, 15 January 2026, Jasmine appeared to solve the whodunit by confessing to the corpse of her recently discovered father, Anthony. In a chilling scene at the undertakers, she not only admitted to the Christmas Day killing but also played a video on her phone that seemingly showed her committing the act.
Jasmine revealed she had no regrets, claiming she stopped Anthony from murdering her mother, Zoe Slater. With Zoe currently in prison for the crime and Kat Moon blaming Chrissie Watts, Jasmine's words seemed designed to let Chrissie take the fall.
