EastEnders fans go wild over Kim Fox's new honey-balayage hair look

EastEnders fans are obsessing over Kim Fox-Danes' (Tameka Empson) dramatic new look, as the character returned from her Caribbean honeymoon with a voluminous honey-balayage hairstyle that has set social media alight.

Kim arrived back on Albert Square with her husband Howie (Delroy Atkinson), stepping out of a taxi to be greeted by Patrick and Yolande Trueman (Rudolph Walker and Angela Wynter) and her daughter Pearl (Arayah Harris-Buckle).

Fan reaction to Kim's new waves

The fresh 'do quickly became the talk of Twitter, with viewers praising the character's transformation. Ryan Glendenning/@RyanSoapKing25 posted: 'Kim Fox has never looked better, OUR AGELESS ST LUCIAN QUEEN', while @moonstarfem added: 'Is there someone new in the hair and makeup department? Kim has come back looking fabulous and Sharon's hair looks great too'.

Mitchell Webb/@MitchellWebb85 wrote 'Kim looks amazing!', @ShakyWoon commented 'Nice hairstyle Kim!', and @ChantalMascoe shared a 'slay queen' gif.

Return amid family drama

But the happy homecoming was overshadowed by ongoing turmoil, as Howie's son Denzel (Jaden Ladega) faced the fallout from nude images he had sent to Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd). The teen had been coerced by the sinister Craig Ingram (Matthew James Bailey) into sending more explicit pictures, with Craig threatening to share them unless Denzel paid £1000 cash.

Desperate, Denzel pawned the signet ring Kim and Howie had bought him for his birthday to raise the money, but Craig later sent the images to both Kim and Howie anyway, watching with maniacal glee as the couple received them.

Kim's role in Denise's cancer battle

Meanwhile, Kim is also supporting her sister Denise (Diane Parish), who continues to battle cancer. Tameka Empson previously told Metro: 'She's putting herself in Denise's shoes, which are very big shoes to fill, but she's giving it a good shot.'

'You'll see Kim grow up, take it on the chin, which is very unusual for Kim, but you still have the little bit of the laughter, the little bit of joy, not so much because she's taken on this responsibility – it's a different version of her.'

Denise's chemotherapy treatments are not having the desired effect, with hopes resting on finding a stem cell donor match, which has so far proved elusive.
