EastEnders viewers believe they have uncovered Joel Marshall's sinister revenge against Stacey Slater, after a teaser for the BBC soap hinted at leaked explicit content. Joel, who has a history of vile behaviour towards women, was slapped by Stacey last week after making offensive comments. He later discovered Stacey's past adult webcam profile, and fans suspect he has leaked her photos and videos online.
In Monday's episode, Stacey is seen excitedly telling Kathy Beale about her daughter Lily's return, but becomes unsettled when she notices café customers staring and whispering. Tommy Moon and Joel are also shown watching her smugly from across the market. Soon after, Stacey learns that her SecretCam content has been leaked, and she immediately confronts Joel, who denies involvement.
Fans are convinced Joel is responsible, with one saying: 'Joel’s done something from that online adults page she had.' Another added: 'He leaks Stacey's photos & videos from her Cam days online.' A third wrote: 'I have a gut feeling that Joel has got her webcam pics and prob posted them all over the Internet.' Some even suspect Tommy helped Joel find the profile.
However, Joel's actions may lead to his own downfall. It has been revealed that Stacey reports Joel to the police, and fans believe this could result in charges. One viewer commented: 'She’ll report him to the police and they’ll examine his laptop and find evidence even if he deletes history. Yes? So the incel with curtains will be gone.'
