In tonight's episode of EastEnders, Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) found herself locked in a prison visiting room amid a riot while her son Jordan was snatched. The ordeal unfolded after Gray (Toby Alexander-Smith) manipulated Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) into tricking Chelsea into visiting the prison, in exchange for protection from the serial killer.
Gray's plot to take Jordan
Gray has been plotting for weeks to strip his ex of their son Jordan (Jahsaiah Williams). He manipulated his grandmother Sheila (Sheila Ruskin) into snatching Jordan in the middle of a party. Sheila is now set to take him out of the country, but she could only get to the boy because Chelsea was stuck in the prison.
To make sure Chelsea couldn't get to Jordan before he was on a plane, Gray got other inmates to start a prison riot. He smugly grinned at Chelsea as she screamed that she wanted to kill him, telling her that when a riot starts, the whole place is locked down and it would be hours before she was free again.
Ian's deal with Gray
This comes just a day after EastEnders aired the moment Ian struck a deal with Gray, agreeing to convince Chelsea to come and see him. Not knowing what else Gray had up his sleeve, Ian decided to help Gray after witnessing a brutal attack on another prisoner and being threatened when he tried to press a distress button.
Meanwhile, Chelsea's aunt Kim (Tameka Empson) noticed that Jordan was missing and rushed around trying to find him. She was helped by Max Branning (Jake Wood), who had only just tried to convince her fiance Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) to sell him their wedding date.
Wedding date drama
Max and his fiancee Cindy (Michelle Collins) were supposed to marry on 1 January 2027, but failed to get the venue paid for on time and it was stolen by someone else. Insistent that they marry at the same venue, Cindy decided to ask Kim and Howie to give them their wedding date, 6 September. The couple refused and shut Cindy out when she suggested that they may want to postpone because Kim's sister is in hospital with cancer. But later, Max went up to Howie, offering him thousands to give them the wedding date.
Despite this, fans know Max will end up setting his wedding date as 1 January, as he was seen getting ready for his wedding during the flashforward. He did not actually get married though, as he was arrested for soliciting a murder. It is not certain who Max will try to have killed, or even if he actually did it, as some theories suggest that he was set up. Many fans think this will be Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) as revenge for when the truth about his ex Priya's (Sophie Levy) affair with Max will come to light.
