The BBC has confirmed that Dragons' Den will return to screens in just a few weeks, with the new series set to air from August 20 on BBC One and iPlayer.
A social media post announced: "The Dragons are back in business! Watch brand-new #DragonsDen from 20 Aug on #iPlayer." It added: "Dragons' Den: Aspiring entrepreneurs have one chance to make their dreams come true when they pitch their business idea to five multimillionaire investors. It's make or break time."
New guest Dragons fill the gap
Following Sara Davies' announcement that she is taking a break from the show, four famous faces will step into her spot. Touker Suleyman also confirmed his exit, with these upcoming episodes set to be his final.
Joining regular Dragons Steven Bartlett, Deborah Meaden, and Peter Jones will be Tinie Tempah, Susie Ma, Gary Neville, and Jenna Meek. All four have previously appeared on the show as guest Dragons, alongside figures such as Joe Wicks and Emma Grede.
Viewers react
Fans shared their excitement in the comments, with one writing: "Can't wait," as another hailed the "great show". One viewer suggested: "Gary Neville would be a great permanent dragon!", while another hinted: "Need @emmagrede on it!"
Former England footballer Gary Neville first joined Dragons' Den in 2023, saying at the time: "I am excited to join the Dragons, and to meet the entrepreneurs brave enough to face us in the Den." He added: "I hope my personal journey shows that you can take the experiences you've had in one part of your career and use them to do something entirely different and make it a success. Business is all about managing people and managing yourself and I'm looking forward to sharing my experience to help the entrepreneurs we'll meet in the Den reach their potential."
He returned when the first part of this series launched earlier this year, alongside Tinie Tempah, Susie Ma, and Jenna Meek, who stepped into the Den for the first time. Tinie Tempah shared: "It's an honour to be invited back into the Den and join the Dragons again. I met so many fantastic entrepreneurs last time and I'm excited to see the businesses that step into the Den this time around."
What to expect
Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment at the BBC, previously said: "Peter, Deborah, Touker and Steven - alongside the formidable guest Dragons - will promise to grill every aspiring entrepreneur who enters the Den, providing plenty of unmissable moments for viewers to look forward to."
Dragons' Den returns on Thursday, August 20, on BBC One and iPlayer.
