Television vet Dr Chris Brown has revealed he cannot bring a date to the Logie Awards because he is not a Gold Logie nominee. The 43-year-old I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! host made the admission on Nova FM's Fitzy and Wippa on Thursday morning.
When radio hosts Ryan 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald and Michael 'Wippa' Wipfli offered to set him up with someone 'single and ready to mingle', Dr Chris declined, stating: 'Because I'm not a Gold Logie nominee, I can't invite someone, so [it's a] single ticket for me.' He is believed to be dating model Brooke Meredith, but the couple have kept their relationship private.
Dr Chris, who also hosts The Living Room on Channel 10, was last seen in public with Brooke in February. The pair reportedly met through mutual friends and spent Covid lockdowns together at his home in Clovelly. Brooke is the founder of health and wellness magazine A Conscious Collection and counts Elyse Knowles and Nadia Bartel among her friends.
Dr Chris was previously in a relationship with former Channel Ten host Liv Phyland.
