Mark and Donnie Wahlberg Lay Mother Alma to Rest in Emotional Funeral

Mark Wahlberg and his brother Donnie laid their late mother Alma to rest on Saturday, carrying her casket during a poignant funeral service at the Saint Teresa of Calcutta Church in Dorchester, Massachusetts.

Mark had been filming in Los Angeles for his new movie Stu at the time of her death and flew to Boston for the service. His wife Rhea joined him, along with Donnie's wife Jenny McCarthy. All attendees wore face masks as the brothers carried Alma's casket.

Donnie attended in a dark suit, while Mark opted for a long-sleeve polo shirt and navy blue trousers. The cause of death remains unknown, but both brothers had previously paid tribute on social media. Donnie had revealed that Alma, who appeared in their reality show Wahlburgers, suffered from dementia.

Mark posted a photograph of her with the caption: 'My angel. Rest in peace.' Donnie shared a video montage of them dancing at his wedding, ending with him telling her: 'Thanks mum. For everything.' He wrote: 'For Alma. I'm so blessed to have been brought into this world by, raised by, taught by and set on my life's path by such an amazing woman.'
