Disney Plus has released a gripping new crime drama, "Furious", which is already being hailed as a must-watch after just one episode. The series holds a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, and TikTok reviewer Eccy Reviews has urged viewers not to let it slip under the radar.
"Way too good to be kept a secret," Eccy Reviews said, admitting he had initially been unsure whether to watch the show. "Trust me, you definitely need to see it," he told followers, guaranteeing that "after watching that first episode, you are going to be hooked."
What is Furious about?
The series follows a woman who leaves the police service for personal reasons and transfers to the FBI. When a former colleague asks her to visit a crime scene, she discovers that a man who appears to have overdosed has actually been murdered. She soon realizes the killer is a woman targeting specific men who hurt her when she was younger.
Eccy Reviews says viewers see "both sides of the story from the serial killer and the detective," describing it as "such a gripping watch." He also praised the cast: "All the performances are fantastic," noting that the characters are dealing with their own mental health and past issues. Fans wonder why Furious hasn't blown up yet
In the comments, someone pointed to a Reddit thread discussing the show, where one viewer expressed surprise that it hadn't gained more attention. "I know it has only been a few days since the first batch of episodes dropped, but I am a little shocked it is not gaining any traction yet," they wrote. "Do we think that is because it's a Hulu show? Or just strictly due to timing. I have told dozens of people in the last few days to watch, but have not gotten anyone hooked yet.
