Disney+ 'Mr Inbetween' Hailed as Greatest TV Show

Disney+ viewers are being warned not to start the dark comedy-crime drama 'Mr Inbetween' unless they are prepared to binge the entire series, as fans hail it as the "greatest TV show ever made".

Streaming Sensation

The Australian series, which first aired in 2018, is now available on Disney+, opening it up to a new audience. Content creator Luke Ecclestone, known online as Eccy Reviews, recently shared his praise for the show in a TikTok video, saying he "couldn't recommend it enough".

Ecclestone, who has built a following of hundreds of thousands across social media, warned viewers: "Warning - do not start this show unless you're ready to binge-watch the entire thing - because this is one of the most perfect pieces of television that I have ever watched."

A Perfect Blend

The show follows Ray Shoesmith, played by Scott Ryan, as he juggles his roles as a father, lover, and friend while working as a hitman. Ecclestone described it as "full of action, comedy, emotion", noting that it had him "laughing in tears" and "emotionally damaged" in tears.

He added: "Every single episode is perfect until that final one, and it is one of the best shows I have ever seen. Now each episode's only 30 minutes, it's three seasons long, and it'll be one of the easiest watches you'll ever come across."

Fan Reactions

Fans of the show were quick to agree in the comments. One viewer said: "Mr Inbetween is the best series of all time!" Another commented: "Best show no one's ever watched. It is just perfect. Highly recommend it."

Ecclestone also praised the cast's performances as "on point" and the directing as "phenomenal", adding that the Australian backdrop and accents "make this show 10 times funnier". He concluded: "If you go and watch this show, it'll be one of the best things you will ever do. So make sure you go and head over to Disney+, get this show on your watch list - get it watched!"
