ITV's Dickinson's Real Deal, hosted by David Dickinson, will be filming in Liverpool this weekend at Aintree Racecourse. The show invites the public to bring their unwanted antiques, collectables, and valuables for a chance to sell them on television.
Event Details
The filming will take place on Saturday, July 25, from 8am to 5pm. Guests can bring items such as gold, silver, jewellery, vintage records, artwork, and toys. The show, which celebrates its 20th anniversary on ITV this year, gives participants the choice of accepting cash offers from dealers or risking it at auction for potentially more money.
Dealer Offers and Alternatives
For those not featured on the show, there are opportunities to sell items to the local auction house partner Adam Partridge or the show's sponsor, Vintage Cash Cow. A team will be available to value all items, ensuring each guest receives appropriate attention.
David Dickinson expressed his enthusiasm for the visit, stating: "I always enjoy coming to Liverpool – it’s a wonderful city. We have had some memorable days with the show when we have visited Liverpool before over the years. We have met some great characters, had some lovely items and big money deals, so hopefully we will have more this weekend. Now that’s the Real Deal."
Antiques Fair at Aintree
Aintree Racecourse also hosts a monthly antiques and collectors fair, organized by T&K events. The next fair is scheduled for Sunday, July 26. According to the organizers: "If you’re a customer looking to find your home treasures or a trade buyer looking to replenish your stock, Aintree antique and collectors fair has it covered. A collection of all things antique, vintage flea, collectable, jewellery, military, textiles, furniture, and much more."
