New first-look images from the second season of Dexter: Resurrection have been released by Paramount+, showing Michael C. Hall back as the iconic serial killer Dexter Morgan. The upcoming season finds Dexter caught between two killers and battling his "greatest enemy yet: a midlife crisis."
While one of the killers is well-known for his crimes, the other is terrorizing New York in unexpected ways. Meanwhile, Harrison (Jack Alcott) continues his own pursuit of justice as father and son face their darkest chapter.
Cast and Characters
Returning stars include Uma Thurman, Jack Alcott, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa, Desmond Harrington, and James Remar. New additions to the cast are Dan Stevens, Nona Parker Johnson, and Brian Cox.
Brian Cox plays the New York Ripper, a dangerous killer who taunts his victims. Dan Stevens portrays the Five Borough Killer, a serial killer who threatens police with phone calls about murdering innocent people. Nona Parker Johnson plays Fiona Mixon, a training officer in the NYPD Homicide department. Desmond Harrington returns as Joey Quinn, a lieutenant in Miami Metro Homicide, now promoted to a season 2 regular.

Release and Background
Dexter: Resurrection acts as a sequel to Dexter and Dexter: New Blood, debuting in July 2025. Set 10 weeks after the events of Dexter: New Blood, Dexter had recovered from a near-fatal gunshot wound and was tracing his missing son, Harrison. The second season is coming to Paramount+ later this year.
