The season 15 finale of Death in Paradise airs tonight on BBC One, featuring a cast of familiar faces from other popular shows. DI Mervin Wilson, played by Don Gilet, and his team investigate the death of an eccentric monster hunter whose body is found at sea.
The victim, Giles Parry, is portrayed by Toby Williams, known for roles in Father Brown, Sex Education, and Breeders. Parry had dedicated his life to hunting a mythical sea creature called the Lusca, and his wounds suggest he was killed by the beast.
Other guest stars include Alexis Rodney (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Gentlemen) as crew member Kelvin Mason, and Claudie Blakley (Pride and Prejudice, Grantchester) as Cara Smart. Nicholas Burns, famous for Nathan Barley and Benidorm, plays Rory Lyons, who appears to be romantically linked to Cara.
The episode also introduces Eloise Clarke, Mervin's long-lost niece, played by newcomer Avah Cotterell. Her father Solomon Clarke, Mervin's half-brother, returns, portrayed by Daniel Ward (Mood, This Is Going to Hurt).
