Emmerdale star Danny Miller has jokingly expressed fears of losing his job after appearing to leak details of his character Aaron Dingle’s new look. The actor, who has played Aaron since 2008, shared a video on his Instagram Story on Tuesday showing off a smarter wardrobe for the character.
In the clip, filmed in his dressing room, Miller revealed a black high-neck jumper and a quilted bomber jacket, quipping that it was “not a turtle neck” but a “turneck”. He stated the new look would air on ITV and ITVX in February 2026.
However, Miller quickly posted a follow-up story to clarify the situation. Walking to the soap’s set, he said: “Just in fear of losing my job, I’d thought I’d better tell you it’s not live, just a disclaimer.” He added that the outfit was “half a turtle” for those who missed the joke.
Aaron Dingle has been a fan favourite since his debut, known for storylines including his romance with Robert Sugden and the recent Corriedale episode. Miller’s light-hearted spoiler has stirred excitement among viewers ahead of February’s episodes.
