"It was a bit cringey, I'm not going to lie," Dani confessed with a laugh. "But that's just my dad. He wears his heart on his sleeve and gets so invested." She described the unique dynamic of watching her father cheer on her partner from the sidelines of the BBC's flagship dance competition.
Despite the initial embarrassment, Dani emphasised her affection for her father's unfiltered enthusiasm. "He was just so proud. He loves Jarrod like a son, and to see him doing so well on something like Strictly, which is so far out of his comfort zone, made him incredibly happy."
