Coronation Street viewers are convinced they have uncovered a major DNA twist involving newcomer Brody and detective Kit Green. The theory emerged after Brody made a comment about his parents moving to Weatherfield, leading fans to speculate he could be the son of the street’s newest couple, Mick and Lou.
Some fans now believe Brody is actually Kit’s secret son, possibly from a past affair with Lou. Corrie boss Kate Brooks recently hinted that Mick and Lou would share a mystery link with Kit that would “open the floodgates”, fuelling speculation of a surprise paternity reveal.
One fan posted: “Good one and I wonder if Kit is his dad as it said they both know Kit. I wonder if he had an affair with Lou years ago.” Others noted that Brody said his parents had just moved to Weatherfield, aligning with Mick and Lou’s recent arrival.
Viewers are also convinced Brody is Mick and Lou’s eldest son, as he is currently in prison with Dylan Wilson. Fans took to social media to share their theories, with one saying: “After tonight’s #corrie I am even more convinced that Brody is Lou and Mick’s eldest son.”
