Corriedale Fans Plead For Deleted Crossover Scenes

Fans of the historic Corriedale crossover have issued a major plea to ITV bosses to release deleted scenes from the special episode. The crossover between Coronation Street and Emmerdale saw characters from both soaps caught up in a horrific car crash, with viewers given the chance to vote on which characters would meet.

The winning pairing was Carla Connor and Charity Dingle, whose scene in a hospital lift aired during the episode. However, only one of the other three potential pairings – Sam Dingle and Kirk Sutherland – has been released online so far. Fans are now demanding the remaining scenes featuring Nicola King and Roy Cropper, and Ross Barton and Tracy Barlow.

One viewer wrote on X: "Please can we have the other scenes that didn't win the vote?" Another added: "I know we've been spoilt with content already but please may I make one last request to have a reel of deleted scenes?" The released clip shows Sam and Kirk trying to navigate a hospital map, with Kirk smuggling his pet dachshund inside.

The demand for extra material is not without precedent: when Tina McIntyre was murdered in 2014, four alternate endings were filmed and later released online, showing different potential killers. ITV has not yet confirmed whether the remaining Corriedale scenes will be made available.
