Asha Alahan, played by Tanisha Gorey, has been struggling with anxiety and depression following a racist attack earlier this year. The ordeal left her vulnerable and alone, culminating in a suicide attempt with sleeping pills. She is now recovering in a mental health unit.
During a visit from her father Dev, Asha considers returning home but worries that her friends have not been in touch. Dev confronts Nina, Amy, and Summer, accusing them of abandoning Asha. He reveals that Asha may not want to come home due to their lack of support.
Nina and Amy visit Asha with a jigsaw puzzle featuring their faces, but Summer is absent due to university commitments. When Summer finally arrives, Asha's joy turns to horror as Summer suddenly collapses, leaving her life in grave danger.
