Corrie spoilers: Sally's downfall as Lucy's accusations mount

Next week on Coronation Street, Sally Metcalfe faces a serious threat to her family as Lucy Parkinson's accusations trigger a social worker's visit, while Tyrone Dobbs lands a punch on Chesney and Adam Barlow finally proposes to Alya Nazir.

Lucy Parkinson (Anya Dewin) continues to challenge Tim and Sally Metcalfe (Joe Duttine and Sally Dynevor), and after discovering something significant about Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins), tensions escalate. Ross Wilkes' (Ian Burfield) influence on son Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) pushes him to extreme behaviour, culminating in a violent clash with brother-in-law Chesney Winter-Brown (Sam Aston).

Halloween chaos and a proposal

On Sunday, October 25, Paula returns to Chariot Square and makes amends with Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney), then listens to Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) detailing his proposal plans. Using Debbie's confusion, Paula takes the key to the room Adam has set up, and when Adam finds the engagement ring missing before proposing to Alya Nazir (Sair Khan), he turns on Debbie, who realises her mistake.

Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) visits Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon), who is pale and vomiting. Despite her claims of a hangover, he spots her folic acid pills and asks if she's pregnant. She confirms she is, the result of a one-night stand.

Elsewhere, Fiz Dobbs (Jennie McAlpine) reluctantly accepts Ross' offer to take Dorin (Henry Nye Meller) and the quads to the park, while Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) is puzzled to find his missing book pushed through the Kabin letterbox.

Tyrone's violent outburst

On Monday, October 26, when Tyrone discovers a bruise on Dorin caused by Aled Winter-Brown (Joseph Woods), Ross goads him into confronting Chesney and Gemma Winter-Brown (Dolly-Rose Campbell). Ross later arrives and stokes the fire between them, leading Tyrone, desperate to prove he's not a pushover to his dad, to punch Chesney.

Despite Lucy's pleas to attend Kayla's Halloween party, Sally refuses when she learns there will be no adult supervision. Tim tries to convince Lucy that Sally only has her best interests at heart. Meanwhile, Debbie reclaims the engagement ring from Paula and returns it to Adam, while Ryan steps up to look after Bethany.

Sally's terrifying scare

On Wednesday, October 28, Sally and Tim try to persuade Lucy to go to the Rovers' Halloween party while keeping quiet about a riot at Richie Parkinson's (Nathan Sussex) prison. Noises around the house convince Lucy that Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton) has escaped, and despite reassurance from Lisa Connor-Swain (Vicky Myers), when the house is plunged into darkness after a power cut, a ghostly figure creeps up on Sally, and she smashes a vase over their head.

It's awkward as Gemma and Chesney arrive at the Halloween party, and Fiz pushes Tyrone to apologise and make things right with her brother. Also, after Adam and Alya are forced to break the news to Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) that Marco Rhodes (William Teasdale) lost his case and has been sent straight to prison, Adam finally proposes and Alya accepts.

Social worker arrives

On Thursday, October 29, Ruth (Amy Drake) the social worker arrives, summoned by Lucy. Sally and Tim are horrified when Ruth reveals Lucy's written a journal accusing Sally of treating her hideously. Lucy later repeats her accusations to Christina, who worries to George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) that her granddaughter is being mistreated.

Summer heads to the prison to visit Marco and reassures him she's got his back, telling him she's sure he'll win his appeal and soon be free. She later meets up with Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) and Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) and reaffirms her decision to stand by him. Concurrently, Carla Connor-Swain (Alison King) clashes with Idris Nazir (Junade Khan), who tells Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) he's set his sights on buying her factory, despite Leanne's belief that Carla will never give the place up.

On Friday, October 30, as Christina laments failing her daughter, Lucy shows her some old family videos. When Christina sees Richie in the background being abusive to Rachel, she flees, dropping her keyring. Lucy heads to the undertakers, demanding to know why Christina has a keyring with a photo of her mum, as Christina tells George about the abuse she saw.

As business worsens at the factory, Idris listens in to Carla and Lisa discussing the problem before offering advice, leaving Lisa amused when Carla tears a strip off him. Elsewhere, when Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) tells Ken Barlow (William Roache) that his petition to fight the Weatherfield High land grab has been a bust, Ken encourages him to write a piece for the gazette.
