Coronation Street spoilers have confirmed Jodie Ramsey's (Olivia Frances Brown) next move after a dramatic episode. It's a tense time for the Platts on the cobbles after Lily Platt (Grace Ashcroft-Gardiner) discovered the gun Jodie has been hiding in her trinket box.
Viewers watched as a fearful Lily opened up to David (Jack P Shepherd) and Shona (Julia Goulding) about what she had found. But Jodie managed to get away with it once again, telling her concerned sister and brother-in-law that the gun she had been hiding in their home was fake.
Fans watched as Jodie lied to her family and was forgiven for more lies. The episode ended with the mysterious character reaching on top of the kitchen cupboards to retrieve the real gun and left out the kitchen door, hiding the gun in a blanket.
Fans losing patience
Soap fans seem to be losing their patience with Jodie, with many viewers still baffled by who she really is. She arrived in Weatherfield as part of the dramatic Corriedale crossover episode back in January. She was tied up in the back of Emmerdale actor Graham Foster's (Andrew Scarborough) van, and viewers are still yet to learn what happened and how she found herself in the worrying situation.
Seven months down the line, Jodie is still an enigma for viewers and lots of Coronation Street fans are hoping whatever she is hiding will soon be revealed.
Social media backlash
Taking to social media to express their frustration, one viewer said: "Move it on #Corrie!!" and a second said: "What's the point in Jodie?" A third said: "I wish they'd hurry up and get rid of Jodie" and a fourth added on X: "Getting a bit sick of this constant back and forth with Jodie. They need to progress her character."
A fifth wrote: "I can't go round this loop of Shona forgiving Jodie every single time again." while another said: "It's stopping the story moving forward. It's tiresome. It's making Jodie tiresome."
Spoilers: Jodie steps in
According to spoilers, Jodie steps in to help Lily during Wednesday's episode. She hopes to win Lily round and takes action when she spots her struggling to stop some lads from bullying Harry at the precinct. As the lads scarper, Jodie takes a picture of them. At No.8, Lily tells David how Harry was being bullied by some lads but Jodie scared them off.
Later in the week, Jodie's up to more funny business as she creates a new thread on a forum dedicated to mums. Calling herself Shona, she describes herself as a first time mum who went through a traumatic birth.
