Sarah Platt's (Tina O'Brien) nightmare behind bars is set to escalate as new cellmate Kacey (Emma Matthews) turns violent, threatening Sarah if she doesn't secure help from her ex-boyfriend, Kit Green (Jacob Roberts).
Sarah's Desperate Plea to Kit
After breaking up with Kit to spare his career, Sarah finds herself in a precarious position when Kacey arrives in her cell, sobbing about her son's arrest for armed robbery. Knowing Sarah's ex is a copper, Kacey demands she ask him for help. When Sarah refuses, Kacey threatens her.
Seeking advice from Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce), Sarah is told to ask Kit for help or Todd will. Reluctantly, she summons Kit for a visit, but he refuses, leaving her to face Kacey's wrath. Kacey later warns that if her son faces further legal trouble, she'll hold Sarah personally responsible.
Background of Sarah's Imprisonment
Sarah was arrested for the murder of Theo Silverton (James Cartwright), after bashing him over the head and watching him fall from scaffolding. She turned to Gary Windass (Mikey North) for help, who had previously disposed of a villain. Their secret caused suspicion from Kit and Gary's wife, Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon).
Kit, having discovered where Gary disposed of the weapon, continues to blackmail him. Meanwhile, Sarah has faced bullying from other inmates, leaving her with a mashed-up face.
Looks like Sarah is in for a fresh set of bruises as her prison ordeal continues.
