Jodie Ramsey's (Olivia Frances-Brown) trinket box, containing stolen items from Coronation Street residents, has vanished from her bag. The box holds a picture of Bernie Winter-Alahan (Jane Hazlegrove), a book from Brian Packham (Peter Gunn), Lisa Connor-Swain's (Vicky Myers) warrant card, and a gun.
Jodie's Manipulation Unravels
This week, Jodie's obsession with David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) led her to let her dad Doug (Steve Evets) believe that Shona's husband bought her a large bunch of flowers. Jodie has told Doug she's been secretly seeing David and that they plan to tell Shona how they feel after her birthday.
To stop Doug from confronting Shona, Jodie tampered with his mental health medication. As a result, Doug was behaving erratically in today's episode, convinced he could hear radio static that was actually a recording on Jodie's phone.
Discovery in Doug's Van
Paranoid Doug left the house and headed to his campervan. Later, Jodie realised her trinket box was missing. In Doug's van, he was seen checking through items, with Jodie's stolen box in the background. Doug was distressed and panicked, failing to open the trinket box.
The episode, dated October 2, hasn't aired on ITV1 yet but is available on ITVX and YouTube. Whether Doug will open the box and find the incriminating items remains to be seen.
