Eagle-eyed Coronation Street viewers have uncovered another victim of mysterious newcomer Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown), after spotting a stolen book among her hidden treasures.
In last night's episode, Jodie was revealed to have broken into Bernie Winter's (Jane Hazlegrove) home and cut her face out of wedding pictures, adding to her box of trophies under the Platt family sofa. But fans noticed the box also contained Brian Packham's (Peter Gunn) beloved copy of The Woman in White.
Brian had accused Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) of the theft, but she maintained her innocence. Now, viewers have confirmed Jodie as the real culprit. 'Was that Brian's book in her box too?' asked Sue on Facebook, with LeeAnn replying: 'Yes! The Woman in White. Well spotted super sleuth!'
Jodie's collection has drawn comparisons to Emmerdale serial killer Meena Jutla, who kept trophies from her victims. 'This is a similar storyline that Emmerdale did with Meena & her box of trophies,' wrote Samantha, while Mark added that Jodie 'gives Meena vibes'.
With a death already rumoured on the cobbles, some fans wonder if Jodie's behaviour will escalate. Others have joked about the Platt family's lax housekeeping: 'They must never run the hoover under the couch,' noted Margaret.
