Emmerdale viewers believe they have uncovered the identity of the person Graham Foster was speaking to on the phone following his shock return during Monday's crossover episode with Coronation Street. The character, presumed dead after being murdered by Pierce Harris in 2020, reappeared driving a van with a young girl named Jodie tied up in the back.
During the episode, Graham visited Joe Tate at the hospital but did not speak to him. He then made a cryptic phone call, telling someone he had to do something and mentioning Jodie. Meanwhile, Rhona Goskirk was acting suspiciously after the murder of Ray Walters, whose body was dragged across the floor at the start of Monday's show. Rhona made a phone call asking, 'Have you done it?'
Fans have connected the two calls, speculating that Rhona was speaking to Graham and that he may have killed Ray on her behalf. One viewer posted: 'Maybe Rhona was on the phone to Graham who she knew was still alive & asked him to kill Ray!!' Another added: 'Sooo was it Graham that Rhona was on the phone with and had she asked him to kill Ray?'
Other theories suggest Graham may have been speaking to Kim Tate, but the Rhona connection has gained traction. Some fans questioned how Rhona would know Graham was alive, but the theory remains popular.
Additionally, viewers are speculating about the identity of Jodie, whose wrist tattoo closely resembles one on Coronation Street's Shona Platt. Fans believe Jodie may be Shona's sister or relative, with one commenting: 'I think she'll be related to shona? They seemed to have matching tattoos?'
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX, while Coronation Street airs at 8:30pm.
