Coronation Street Fans Predict Carl Webster as Flashforward Murder Victim

Coronation Street fans are convinced that villain Carl Webster will be the victim in the upcoming flashforward murder storyline. The speculation follows this week's explosive scenes in which Debbie Webster revealed she is Carl's mother, having previously claimed to be his sister.

Carl reacted furiously to the news, refusing to help Debbie despite her dementia diagnosis. He told her he would never visit her and that she could "rot" in prison for the Corriedale crash that killed Billy Mayhew, a crash he caused while driving drunk.

Viewers were horrified by Carl's treatment of Debbie, believing his behaviour makes him irredeemable. Many now think he will be killed off in the whodunnit plot, with Debbie's husband Ronnie Bailey emerging as a prime suspect.

One fan commented: "If Carl is killed in the flash forward, I reckon there’s a good chance it’ll be Ronnie." Another added: "Carl is vile. He makes my skin crawl. I hope he gets killed off soon."

Coronation Street airs weeknights at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
