Coronation Street fans have joked that they are 'fuming' as they demanded to be able to see the scenes referenced by Sally Metcalfe in the long-running show.
Those who follow the ITV soap, which is filmed in Salford, saw Sally admit to her husband, Tim, that she wasn't sure she can cope with Lucy Parkinson's issues.
As Corrie fans know, Lucy recently came into their lives following the imprisonment of her dad, Richie Parkinson, who was only introduced to viewers weeks ago as Tim's cousin, after he was accused of killing his wife, Rachel.
Sally's comments spark fan reaction
Later in Thursday's (August 27) episode, Ruth, the social worker, called by and gently probed Lucy in a bid to find out if she was happy with her foster home.
But it was Sally's earlier comments which sparked comments from fans. As she returned home to No.4 Coronation Street, she asked Tim: "Is the social worker here?" When Tim told her Ruth wouldn't arrive until two o'clock, Sally replied: "I thought it was half past 12."
She added: "Carla's in a bad enough mood as it is. I thought she said you could take as long as you want. She did, but you know what she's like. She and Lisa have a row, and everyone's walking on eggshells."
Fans demand to see the row
And after newlyweds Lisa and Carla Connor-Swain's recent absence from screens, Corrie fans were left wanting to see what Sally was talking about as they took to social media to comment.
@Izzy1728047 said: "#Swarla rowing? And it's not onscreen." @TVMusings26 commented: "Not being funny but I'd quite like to see the rows at number 6 and stroppy Carla thanks! It can't always be sunshine and lollipops! #Corrie."
@chasinthewaves posted: "According to sally our beloved wives have had a row, and now everyone's walking on eggshells. Gimmeeeee." @eternitydropped added: "'Carla's in a bad enough mood as it is... you know what she's like, her and Lisa have a row and everyone's treading on eggshells'. So Carla and Lisa have a row and we don't get to see it, FUMING."
