Next week on Coronation Street, Todd Grimshaw faces escalating danger from Theo Silverton, whose jealousy and controlling behaviour intensify. In scenes set to air, Todd struggles with the physical toll of Theo's constant demands, prompting a visit from James Bailey, who offers help after dropping off equipment.
While preparing lunch, Todd complains of aches and strains in his legs. In a preview clip, Todd is seen on the floor in his dressing gown as James tries to ease his pain. The pair joke around, with Todd suggesting James is torturing him in exchange for a lunch invitation. However, Theo watches darkly from the sidelines, his fury building. Todd notices and looks alarmed, quickly insisting that James cannot stay.
James, oblivious, jokes about Todd getting dressed next time. As Todd laughs, Theo remains stone-faced, saying goodbye coldly. When Todd gets up, he comments that his legs feel better, but his face drops as he realises Theo is unimpressed. Fearing the consequences of Theo's recent outbursts and manipulative behaviour, Todd watches as Theo's expression darkens further.
Meanwhile, Kit Green grows concerned when his boss, DI Costello, goes missing. At the station, Kit notes Costello's absence and asks a colleague, who seems unconcerned. But spoilers reveal Costello is attacked next week. When Kit finds out, he informs colleague Lisa Swain, sharing his suspicion that her ex, Becky Swain, may be responsible. Lisa's reaction remains to be seen.
