Brooks described the episode as 'old school Corrie with a modern twist', and confirmed that Helen Worth's exit will be 'glorious' and steeped in nostalgia.
Gail's storyline revolves around her engagement to Jesse Chadwick, but Brooks teased that secrets and betrayals will come to light. 'She's found out that some of her nearest and dearest have absolutely betrayed her. She doesn't know who to believe,' Brooks said, hinting that the wedding may not go ahead as planned.
