Next week on Coronation Street, a villain is targeted, Sam confides in a newcomer, and Sienna is accused.
Jodie's secret exposed
David and Shona find out Jodie attacked Sarah, as Sarah soon tells them about Jodie’s secret trinket box. Lily locates it and makes a discovery.
The next day, baby Harper is brought home by Shona and David, who are greeted with a surprise family party. Soon Jodie reveals she has told the police about the assault, and she asks if she can move back in whilst she waits for her court case, leaving the family stunned.
Lily confronts Jodie about the trinket box, leading to David and Shona wanting answers. Bethany visits her mum Sarah in prison and tells her about Jodie’s confession.
As Jodie tries to make amends, she steps in to help Harry who is being bullied - but soon she’s back up to her old tricks again. Sam returns from hospital, and Leanne introduces him to Idris.
When David doesn’t let Sam hold baby Harper, Sam confides in Idris. Idris tells him about his own anxieties as a teen and how he overcame them, leaving Sam feeling positive.
Cassie's plan backfires
Cassie is keen to get rid of Ross, and when she takes a call from his ex named Alison, Ross overhears. Cassie summons Steve, Tyrone, Tracy and Ross to the Rovers and introduces them to Alison, who claims Ross stole money from her and threatened her.
The next day, Cassie’s reeling to find Ross celebrating with Tyrone and Tracy after accepting a job at a local prison, confirming his plans to stay in Weatherfield. Fiz plans a dinner for Ross’ birthday, but as tensions boil over Cassie drops a bombshell.
As Ross prepares for his first day at work, he reveals he has to take a drug test. Cassie plots to drug Ross, but it backfires as Steve dumps her and Tyrone kicks her out.
Other storylines
Maria and Gary start to get back on track, but their happiness is called out by David. Maria tells him Sarah is where she belongs. Alya shows Ollie the ropes at Speed Daal, but Ben is stunned to find his son working for the competition.
Meanwhile, Idris shocks Alya with his proposition, while Idris also clashes with Adam. Soon, Idris pays Brody to scare off Adam. Carla tells Lisa she plans to visit Sarah as she’s not coping well, leaving Lisa feeling troubled.
Asha heads out for her first date with Sienna, but a phone call leaves Sienna rushing off, clearly rattled. Nina doesn’t buy Sienna’s excuses, and when Nina’s wage packet goes missing from the flat, Nina fears Sienna has taken it.
When Sienna is confronted, she labels Nina as a jealous ex and leaves. Roy visits Betsy and he helps her with her language skills. When Betsy is discharged, Lisa helps her fragile daughter into the house where Ryan and Carla are waiting for her. As they try to keep upbeat for Betsy, a dejected Betsy tells her mum to contact the fashion college to let them know she won’t be attending.
