On Monday's Coronation Street, Cassie Plummer takes extreme action to expose Ross Wilkes by introducing his ex-girlfriend Alison Shave to the Rovers. Meanwhile, Shona and David Platt finally bring baby Harper home after months in hospital. Sam Blakeman opens up to Idris Nazir about his anxiety.
Harper returns home
Shona and David bring baby Harper home after months in hospital. Before Harper was born, doctors warned there was a mass on the baby's neck. After discussions over surgery, Shona went into labour following a car crash during the Corriedale crossover. Harper was very poorly but has gradually improved. However, Sam is upset when David does not let him hold his baby cousin. Jodie also returns with a bombshell for Shona.
Cassie's plot against Ross
Cassie takes a call from one of Ross's exes, Alison. Ross overhears and recognises her name. Cassie then summons Steve, Tyrone, Tracy and Ross to the Rovers and introduces Alison Shave. She reveals that Ross stole money from Alison and threatened her. How will Ross react, and is he finally exposed?
Sam confides in Idris
Sam continues his recovery after a breakdown and psychosis. He opens up to Leanne Battersby's new man Idris Nazir. Idris shares his own experience with anxiety as a teen and how he overcame it. Sam appreciates the chat and feels much better after sharing his worries.
Coronation Street airs weeknights at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
