Baby Harper's Health Battle
Shona's pregnancy was fraught with danger after doctors discovered that her unborn child had developed a cancerous tumour on her neck. The surgery required to remove the tumour posed a risk to Shona's life, but she and David weathered the storm. Baby Harper was born prematurely shortly after the Corriedale crash and required NICU care and a planned operation to remove the tumour. The baby has been plagued with health problems, requiring round-the-clock care.
Jodie Ramsey's Scheme
Jodie, Shona's twisted half-sister, has been a constant source of trouble. Her attempt to seduce David failed when he realised she was impersonating Shona, leading to her being kicked out. She then tried to worm her way back in by bonding with Shona's children, Lily and baby Harper.
