The first look at the set of The Claudia Winkleman Show has been unveiled, alongside the star-studded guest lineup for the debut episode. The show, airing on BBC One and iPlayer from 10.40pm on Friday 13 March, promises a mix of Hollywood and British talent.
For the opening episode, Claudia Winkleman will be joined by Jeff Goldblum, known for his roles in Jurassic Park and Wicked, who will discuss his new album Night Blooms with his band The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. Actress Vanessa Williams will talk about her West End role in The Devil Wears Prada, while national treasure Jennifer Saunders promotes her new film The Magic Faraway Tree. Comedian Tom Allen will also appear to discuss his book Common Decency.
Winkleman has previously joked about her interview style, saying she imagines she'll ask guests about their favourite biscuits and their dog, and that people will actually fall asleep. The show is set to bring a relaxed, conversational tone to the late-night slot.
